Before you install

Find a clear view.

The Terminal needs an open view of the sky within 55 degrees of straight up. Hold your phone where you plan to mount it and the Starveil app scans the sky, then shows you what is in the way.

Questions.

Will trees affect my service?

Yes. The Terminal needs a clear view of the sky. The Starveil app shows obstructions and can recommend which trees to remove.5

What happens during peak hours?

Home and Roam data may be deprioritized when the network is busy. Busy is defined by the network.

Can I cancel?

Plans are month to month. Return the Terminal within 30 days for a full refund, minus shipping, restocking and a reasonable inspection fee.

Why is my district on the waitlist?

Each satellite cell supports a limited number of customers. Districts with high demand fill first. Districts with high deposits are expanded first.

Does Starveil work in a storm?

Heavy rain may cause brief outages. The Terminal will reconnect when the weather passes. Outages caused by weather are not eligible for service credits.

  1. Standard data is deprioritized after 1 TB in a month, or during peak hours, whichever comes first. Peak hours are 07:00 to 01:00.
  2. Do not use Starveil while driving. Roam Unlimited supports use while driving.
  3. Priority traffic is prioritized over Home and Roam traffic. Priority is not prioritized over Government, Business Max or founder traffic.
  4. Capacity is allocated by demand, measured by deposits.
  5. Starveil is not responsible for trees, neighbors’ trees, or disputes about trees.
