Reminder that I was right about satellites, rockets, Veil City and the burrito place. Not bragging. Just keeping a record.

Founder · Chief Engineer · Mayor · Visionary

- Founder and Chief Engineer, Corvex
- Mayor of Veil City
- Chairman, Corvin Holdings
- Author, Look Up. (Vols. 1 to 3)
- Visionary of the Year, four years running
A note from Dax
Why I look up.
When I was a kid in Chumash, our internet went down every time the wind blew. Other kids complained. I lay on the roof, looked at the stars and thought: somebody should put the internet up there. Then I realized that somebody was going to be me.
Six years later there are 6,412 Starveil satellites overhead. A rancher in Grapeseed can video call a doctor. A family on a yacht off Del Perro can stream in 4K. A deputy in the Grand Senora can call for backup. None of that would have happened if I had listened to the people who said it could not be done, most of whom now work for me.
People ask me how I stay humble. I remind myself every morning that I am just one man. One man who built a rocket company, a satellite network and a city, but one man.
Some people say the satellites are ruining the night sky. I hear them. I also hear the 2.1 million customers who disagree, and I think the sky has never looked better.
Keep looking up. You will see my work.
Dax
Dax Corvin does not write every word of every note. He approves them.3
